I’m pretty sure proper etiquette says you have one year to get thank you cards mailed out after your wedding. So I’m hoping the same is true for blog posts… I wasn’t able to post this wedding last year due to my website dying BUT I knew I wanted to revisit it in time to celebrate Monica & Eric’s one year anniversary which is TOMORROW!! I’m headed to Hazel’s second guitar lesson tomorrow night (which I am looking forward to) but if given the chance to enjoy this delicious food and company again I’d skip up to Red Butte Garden in a heart beat.
Monica and Eric were so kind and down to earth to work with. And since I’d shot Monica’s nieces wedding a few year prior, their day was filled with past clients and friends which made it that much more enjoyable. As is the weather this year, spring was popping in and out during their photo shoots but we made the best of it. We searched Red Butte Garden for anything in bloom during their blacktie session and were treated to a spectacular sunset. And then the sun came to play on their wedding day so all was well. Their guests were able to enjoy outdoor and indoor opportunities during the reception which was ideal. And the little boys in attendance loved the bubble gun exit (I did too!). Monica & Eric have their own wedding album at home filled with images they hand selected (all my clients get the opportunity to choose their favorites that I then design into a custom album for them) but rather than post a copy of their exact album, I wanted to post my favorites for you today, so this is the album I designed for me! What a lovely affair to remember. Happy Anniversary Monica & Eric!
