Mary & David are my kind of people when it comes to a wedding. Their intimate celebration was nestled in Mill Creek Canyon at the lovely Log Haven Restaurant. I could go on and on about Mary’s dress but I’ll let the pictures speak for me. And instead of wedding cake they had wedding cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. Want your guests to be excited about the cake cutting and dessert? This is the way to do it!
Though I’m writing the words for this blog post, I need to give credit to my amazing lighting assistant for the day Ella, who also picked out all of her favorite shots and put this blog post together. I thought it would be fun to relive the day and it’s story through Ella’s taste and perspective so I showed her all of their proof images and she picked out what to include today! I’m looking forward to seeing Mary & David’s favorites that they select to include in their album. It’s going to be stunning no matter what. AND I get to see them again next year when we shoot an anniversary blacktie session for them. Ella already has it on her assisting calendar.
I recently submitted two print cases to the PPA International Print Competition. One of my prints is a shot from this wedding. Once I know how it scores I will share it with you all! Until then, I hoe you enjoy Ella’s take on Mary & David’s big day!
